Digital Newspaper Subscriptions

The High Library's The Economist subscription allows current Etown students, faculty, and staff to access the paper's online edition, whether on or off-campus via a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Users will need to register to access content. Follow these steps to register for an account:

• Navigate to this link: https://myaccount.economist.com/s/login/SelfRegister

• Enter your @etown.edu email (you must use your Etown email address to register) and create a password. Then enter your first and last name.
• You will receive a verification email. Click on the "verify email" button in the body of the email.

• Once your email is verified, you can then navigate to Economist.com and sign in to start viewing content.

If you previously registered an account with your Etown email address, you can still access an account via the library's subscription. You will need to log in to your existing The Economist account and update your email to a personal email address. This will free up your Etown email so you can use it for the library's subscription.

• First go to Economist.com and Sign in with the link in the upper right-hand corner of the page:
