Creating Your Washington Post Account

You can now receive digital access to the Washington Post provided by the High Library. Follow these instructions to activate your free subscription to enjoy unlimited access to the Washington Post online and on all apps. Please note, you can still access the Washington Post online, on or off-campus by using the Databases A to Z link with no registration required.

 

To register for an individual account:

  1. Visit https://www.washingtonpost.com.
  • Click Sign In in the upper-right hand corner and then click the Sign up link at the bottom of the form.

  • Note: If you already have a Washington Post account with your Etown email address, proceed to step 3.
  1. After clicking on the Sign up link in the lower right-hand corner:
  • Enter your college associated email address and click the check the box to agree with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then click Continue.

  • On the next screen choose a password and then click Create account.

  1. Once you've been re-directed to the home page, click on your name in the upper right-hand corner. On the menu, click Account Settings.
  • Make sure your email is Verified, if not, click Unverified to be sent a verification email.`
  • Click on the My subscriptions tab and then click Activate free digital access. Your subscription is now active and ready for use!

 

To sign into an existing account:

  1. Visit https://www.washingtonpost.com.
  2.  Click Sign In in the upper-right hand corner and enter your Etown email address and your chosen password.
