Course reserve items are library materials (books, DVDs, etc.) that professors set aside for their classes. Course reserves can be found shelved behind the circulation desk. To borrow these materials, just ask a staff member! Course reserves have shorter lending periods than our other materials. For each item on the shelf, the reserving professor decides whether its lending period should be one hour, three hours, or overnight. One-hour and three-hour loans cannot be taken out of the library.
Course reserves are filed by subject, both on the physical shelf and in this guide. You can browse our current reserve holdings by visiting the subject headings in the left sidebar of this guide.
If you are a professor interested in putting items on reserve for your class, you can find more information on the Faculty Services page of our website. For further questions, contact Clarissa Grunwald at grunwaldc@etown.edu.
