Find Our Board Games

Because of COVID restrictions, our board games are not currently on display on the main floor. But that's doesn't mean you can't browse them, order them online and check them out for your enjoyment, either inside or outside of the library. Here's how to browse.

Step 1: Go to the Library Catalog Tab on our homepage and search the term games.

Step 2: To limit to board games, go to the left-hand column, and under Source Type, choose Realia.

Step 3: Now you can browse all of our board games. Click on the title of a board game to order it. Then click on Sign In in the yellow box, and enter your Etown username and password.

Step 4: Now you can choose Request Item. Once the item is ready for pick-up at our circulation desk, you will receive an e-mail and can pick it up. It will already be checked out to you.

Catan

Munchkin
From the Publisher: You and your friends compete to kill monsters and grab magic items. And what magic items. The object of the game is to reach Level 10. Levels are acquired via the slaying of monsters and the selling of acquired treasure (1,000 Gold Pieces equals 1 Level). Very silly and a lot of fun!
One Night Ultimate Werewolf
One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a fast paced game where everyone gets to be a different role. In the course of only one night and the following morning, the players will determine who among them is a werewolf hopefully. One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a micro game of the party game Ultimate Werewolf that doesn't need a moderator. There's no elimination and each game lasts about 10 minutes.
Taboo
From Hasbro: The Taboo game is the game of unspeakable fun! Who can get their teammates to say "Brain Freeze" without being able to say Ice Cream, Headache, Eating, Cold or Fast? When playing the Taboo game, the obvious clues are strictly forbidden. Players race against the timer as they try to give creative and carefully-worded clues to get team players to guess words fast. But don't mention unmentionables, or it's time for the squeaker, which means losing the point.
