Getting Started

Tree of Knowledge

This guide is a great place to start your education research. Use the tabs across the top of the guide to explore article, book and Web resources. Remember that these are only some of the sources that may be useful to you.   For help with any of your research needs e-mail AskUs.

Class Assignment

For your library instruction assignment, find one article on your group's topic. Using the Google Doc, list your names and a link (use the Permalink) and answer the following questions about the resource:

  • Which database were you assigned to search?

  • What keywords did you use? Which were most helpful?
  • What did you find most helpful about this database?
  • How would you save this article for yourself?
  • Is this a scholarly article? How do you know?
