WorldCat - get resources from other libraries

Use the WorldCat database to locate materials held by other libraries and to order items on ILLiad interlibrary loan

 When searching WorldCat:

  • Prefer a SUBJECT search
  • To order  an item, click on REQUEST ON INTERLIBRARY LOAN
    • Request items held by ACLCP libraries -- they are delivered more quickly
    • Request items held by many libraries.

When the item is available, you will recieve an email and can pick the item up at the circulation desk in the library.

E-books -- view it now!

E-books, or electronic books, are versions of a book you can read online.  Some of these books can be printed or downloaded, often a limited number of pages at a time. 

  • EBSCOhost E-Book Collection   5,000+ current scholarly and popular titles, published from 2000 to the present.
  • Online Books Page   Links to 25,000 free e-books on the Web, courtesy of the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Project Gutenburg  The original e-book site containing over 17,000 titles, most published 75 or more years ago.
  • Hathi Trust Digital Library HathiTrust is a large-scale collaborative repository of digital content from research libraries.
  • Internet Archive Archive of digital texts, audio, moving images, and webpages.

Find DVDs, CDs, and scores.

In the Library Catalog, under TYPE,  select the kind of material for which you are searching, such as DVDs, CDs, or Scores.

Hit SEARCH to see all of the DVDs that the library holds, or add search words to find DVDs on particular subjects.
